Lucky #7

Since I was little I've tried many sports, starting with karate in preschool. I then tried ice skating, swimming, gymnastics, basketball, and ending with soccer in third grade. Not only was I not good at any of these sports I didn't enjoy any of them.

In fourth grade I finally found the sport for me when I enrolled in the AJFL (Andover Junior Football League) cheerleading program. Cheerleading has been a huge part of my life ever since. I continued doing AJFL until seventh grade, then I did AJFL's eighth grade travel cheerleading team. Once I got to high school I began football and hockey cheerleading and have done both all throughout high school.

Not only do I cheer but I am also a cheerleading coach. I am a cheerleading coach for AJFL, I run a cheerleading after school program at an elementary school, and I coach Special Olympics cheerleading.

This sport has been a huge part of my life and I hope it always will be.

  1. I'm glad that you found a sport that you are so dedicated to. I would never be able to be a cheerleader even if I tried.
